We offer face-to-face asbestos awareness training delivered to you at your workplace. Asbestos awareness training should be provided to any persons carrying out asbestos-related work or who have duties under the asbestos management plan such as the asbestos coordinator.
Under Section 17 of the Health and Safety (Asbestos) Regulations, a person conducting business or undertaking (PCBU) must ensure that workers engaged by the PCBU and may be involved in asbestos-related work are trained in the identification and safe handling of, and suitable control measures for asbestos.

Lead-based paints were heavily used until 1970, meaning that any property constructed before 1970 is at risk of having lead-based paints. Due to the serious health effects of lead poisoning such as neurological damage, or even death, awareness of lead-based paint is crucial.

Direct Hazmat Consultants offers face-to-face, mould awareness training delivered to you at your workplace.
Moulds are naturally found everywhere, however, they become an issue when in high amounts indoors, especially toxic moulds. Health effects from mould exposure can vary greatly from exposure to moulds depending on the duration of exposure, the susceptibility of the person, and the type of mould. Health effects can range from allergy/hay fever-like symptoms, to severe respiratory tract irritation, headaches, diarrhoea, memory loss, and brain damage.
